Overview
Saggi̊q Se was founded durring the late 12th century in spring of the year 1058, by Jayden Làkocà. The establishment of Saggi̊q Se was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Jayden Làkocà struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Saggi̊q Se as a prison colony.
Saggi̊q Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Saggi̊q Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Saggi̊q Se is buildings are arranged arround a network of spacious flagstone streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. Saggi̊q Se's millitarily questionable fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.
A look around Saggi̊q Se shows Saggi̊q Se as a den of corruption. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is. The town has another layer to it as well. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Saggi̊q Se places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual, or at least, faking it.
Civic Infrastructure
Saggi̊q Se has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Saggi̊q Se.
Saggi̊q Se has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Saggi̊q Se has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Saggi̊q Se has a Hall of Slayers, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Saggi̊q Se has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Saggi̊q Se's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Saggi̊q Se possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Saggi̊q Se's grid is powered by an arcane means.
Saggi̊q Se's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.
Saggi̊q Se has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Cultural Notes
Religious leaders are influential in almost any community, but in Saggi̊q Se they make up the final authorities. It may be an explicit theocracy, with rule by the clerics of a particular faith, or a temple might be so important and powerful that the official leaders are helpless to resist its will. The locals can be expected to be loyal adherents to the faith, or else the less pious majority is deeply intimidated by the religion’s believers.
Saggi̊q Se's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.
In Saggi̊q Se every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.
The Ghoul near Saggi̊q Se are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Saggi̊q Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves square dance to channel Wild Magic energies of tier 1 via moments of science.
